Day 3
After unpacking, went on a city tour with the ESN people
it was super cold, the group was super big and then it was dark so i still wasn't sure of the way around from guesthouse(hostel) to school and other places
then we had dinner at the KIWI
the food wasn't nice and not cheap either, around 5 euro for a main and a drink
then went back to sleep
initially i thought i would be fine sleeping in jacket and without a fleece blanket but it was super cold in the middle of the night that i woke up and started shivering. so i went to open the fleece blanket
think they off the heater at night!
Day 4
went for the compulsory induction day
after some lectures we were split into 16 groups and taken around the school
stephanie was in the same group as me. she's the super clever girl in ajc, small world!
the Caucasians generally won't mix with asians
but during lunch an italian guy was sitting across me so got the chance to talk to him
quite nice
then met a hongkong girl and a korean girl, both of them are nice and friendly
and the hongkong girl put on full make up! i think she's really hardworking, i am like too lazy in the morning to bother with this=P
then me and hs and steph skipped the last lecture on dutch culture (like seriously?)
and we went grocery shopping
forgot to bring our grocery bag so we have to lug everything bag using our bags and holding and also one grocery bag that we bought
the potatoes are super cheap! around 15 potatoes for less than 3 euros!
then we went back and hs cooked spaghetti
after that i went for the pubcrawl organised by ESN at 7pm with ntu ppl
it was super cold and we had to went from 1 pub to another
and the drinks are all beer. i can imagine beer belly popping out soon!

then we were on our 4th pub when cousin's friend started buying more beers and then many ppl got drank
the fifth pub was super crowded and so we decided to end our pubcrawl and go back to hostel
one guy was quite funny when he was drunk
normally he's like quiet, shy and nice guy but when he's drunk he started scolding "f-word"
extreme
Day 5
went to vrithjof(spelling is smth like that) with hs and daniel
we got a top up card with data
then skyped with mummy and showed her the street and waffles! like bringing her on tour!
and then set up a bank account with ING
there we met M Zai and Wei Wei
haha his nickname is super cute, call M Zai and he's from Hongkong and i found him familiar because he always pop by to my level to find his hongkong friends
then wei wei is the girl from SMU that emailed me!
so actually maastricht is very small as well
then went walking around to look for more household items
got the very essential ear muffles!
brought our basket for shampoo and soap!=)
hs cooked fried rice for us. she's so domestic, good catch but taken
Day 6
went back to the street to continue shopping
brought a kid's top from H&M for 7euro! then we went to asian supermarket to get light soy sauce, vegetables, noodles and many other things. including my belaccan chili!
then we lug everything back again and the distance was quite far. we walked for around 20-25min
