today is a happy day
my student was very responsive today
we played captain's ball during games time and jayden and annabelle was so cute!
then we played bball with little boys and lost to them
haha
jayden is so cute! so lively and adorable
and he taught me the whatever, major, loser sign lol
but i think i always get "bully" by kids=x haha

i love japan!
hokkaido is so beautiful! flowers everywhere
ana was rather nice though nt as nice as sia in terms of comfort but the service was excellent
they wheeled an ah ma in wheelchair onto and off the plane
the plane ride was 7hours, quite long and after that we switched to domestic flight at narita
on the plane there was a jap couple with a litte boy sitting beside me
the boy was whinning throughout the ride, think he was not feeling well, so poor thing
and the mother had to keep coaxing him and i think she was too stress that she teared. saw a pickachu plane!=D

first night was very cold. pinru and Iwent to the convenience store to buy sweets and choco
was lost, couldn't catch what the cashier was saying but luckily there was a huge screen to show me what are my items and how much to pay
we took pic with the vending machines hahaha

the next day we went to ainu village
they got a musical instrument that makes very interesting sound like boing
we had our first ice cream! vanilla flavour
first taste was normal but as you eat, it tastes nicer
but the ice cream so ex. looks like mac's ice cream cone but cost as much as ben and jerry's
then we went for lunch at a seafood place
omgg the crabs were so big! we added a long leg crab to our lunch and it cost 200 plus! and some clam thingy and fish roe
exxxx but nice!

ahhh i miss the seafood already... the hairy crab is nice too!
then we went to bear ranch
initially we bought a packet of biscuit to feed the bears
but there were too many bears and that ppl usually fed those bears that were in the enclosures at the front and they won't have any food left for those bears behind
me and phua had like 2 biscuits left for the last enclosure and we didn't aim properly and 2 bears almost fought to get the biscuit! so heart wrenching=( so we bought another packet and fed all of them in that enclosure
i think we went to hell valley that day too haha couldn't rmb
it was really warm and got the stinky sulphur smell
then the water is like boiling, got alot of steam
scenery was real pretty, can see valley in the background.

anyway the next day we went to the chocolate factory!=DD
i felt like a kid leh
got those small small cottage houses and i tried to squeeze inside to take pic
there were many flowers too
the factory is like a castle
it's where they make the ishiya chocolate, the famous hokkaido choco!
took a walk around to see how they make the choco and then there's a toy museum also! saw many old toys like robots and micky!
then there's a collection of those gramophones!
and i saw beetles records. lovely place
took pic with astroboy also haha
saw lovely cakes and icing figures
ate second ice cream there. choco mix with vanilla i think
yummmmy
then we went to cheese making place. bought milk and cheese cake
hokkaido milk taste nicer than our normal milk=)
then went to wine making place
i stupidly filled my cup to the brim for wine tasting and there were like so many kinds, think i was a little drunk after that haha oh and the grape juice was very nice!
then we took pic with ther lavender behind the wine place
pretty but it was drizzling then
think we also went cherry picking that day but the cherries nt as nice as those in supermarket
i think i ate like 40 plus cherries, scary

day 3! my fav day cos we went to domita farm. a field of lavenders and other flowers
got purple, red, yellow...ahhh such a beautiful sight. on one side of a small hill, there's a stretch of lavender
the place is so purple haha
the workers there wear purple, even their scooters are purple
my fav colour!
we ate lavender ice cream
3 consecutive days of icec cream!

after that mostly shopping shopping shopping haha
the rock melon there is so sweet but super ex
a slice cost $4 plus and one whole rock melon cost around $100
and got a couple in our group bought 10! omg rich ppl.. many ppl chiong burberry blue label at diamaru and agnes b and fancl
haha i just dash to uniqlo lol
i bought like around 10 pieces of clothing. it's my regret that i didn't manage to buy jap shoes! my aunt says their shoes are super comfortable, got alot of cushioning and that super ex in s'pore
arggg regrets
but i'll go japan again someday haha

foood there is good good goood
had a dinner in a ramen shop. those very traditional, whereby it's small and got a bar sort of thing whereby you can sit and look at the chefs cooking the ramen. i love the char siew!
another dinner which is like a set and it's like in a room, those traditional kind whereby you kneel on the floor and then our tour guide entertain us by singing k lol
another dinner is like hot plate, grill meat
finally had a taste of the famous kobe beef but we had to order that, nt part of tour package.. 100 plus for like a slice of the beef!=xx but it's heavenly. melts in the mouth and very juicy and sweer
however i think the abalone is not worth the money, not that nice. the butter taste was too strong.
had a tempura lunch too. whereby we fry our own tempura.very fun!
our last dinner was thai food, very surprising
but the tom yum and the curry was really tasty and we had refills haha

besides food, i also want to blog about the hot springs
I like to wear yukata!
initially felt a little embarrassed and scared cos must be naked=x but lucky nt many ppl around so we just use a towel to cover then go into the water quickly
we had to shower at an area without cubicles, where they was a row of mirror and stools
it was quite nice actually cos i don't feel scared unlike showering at hotel room. the misty mirror makes showering alone very scary!

love japan!=)
but will love japan more if the shops don't close at 8pm! haha then i will be able to shop more
Japanese girls are super pretty! fair and skinny and like almost all put fake lashes and have pretty nails and they all wear heels
saw a girl who rode bicycle in stilettoes, idolize her lol

start saving for japan and maybe nxt time i'll go during tulip season=)
