wednesday
at biopolis , couldn't remember much,
just that we got to develope our protein results onto film
so we had to develope the film in a dark room

so cool right?
it is to allow people to enter and leave the darkroom without disturbing the person developing film cos no light will enter

ya so when the lights were switched off, it was real dark at first, like we couln't even see the outline of ppl
but then after a while we got more accustomed to it
finally like after ten minutes we could see our feet
the red light ain't much use in helping us to see=p

lala then before leaving
we all went up to the sky bridge to take a picture
=) it was so nice

ahh but i am not going to post the picture cos still need to scan

thursday
cell counting and viability
so we stained the cells and counted them using a hec... something
haha couldn't remember
after that we analysed the results from the day before on the inhibitor used on the protein
our inhibitor was per Vanadate
it had the opposite results from the other teams
then there was the presentation (eeek)
hahax ya then they still record our presentation
the guy in charge said for philip yeo to see
dunno true, not...
=) then took lots of picture that day

ooh and the computers there were like always on? then we can used and go online

opps forgot to rotate the pic.
but anyway ain't the centrifug cool( i dunno how to spell)
it can spin real fast!

yay then we got to go to 6 level to see zebra fish
they are cute!
then their eggs are so interesting, they are transparent! can see the embryo inside!

then the guy working there let us see the microscopic view
then can see the heart of the embryo beating and the blood circulation
so cool lorx!
i want to work there too!=)
